ESPA Optimal Skin ProMoisturiser Beauty Review.

Autumn doesn’t bring the best out in my skin, my face starts behaving like a naughty teenager, all moody and unresponsive. During the summer my skin is normally oily, I use light products that work with my skin type which (mostly) works well. As soon as the leaves begin to fall my skin manages to be oily, dry, congested, flaky, red and irritated, all at the same time, in the same area. I try to mix a heavier, nutrient-rich moisturiser and light oil-free moisturiser to find the perfect combination. Why my skin can’t just pick a theme and stick to it is beyond me.

Luckily ESPA sent over a pot of Optimal Skin ProMoisturiser last week. I’ve tried the ProSerum but not the moisturiser which is designed to read your skin and respond to its needs accordingly. The theory is that the intuitive formula is able to boost the skin’s natural ability to balance itself. I’ve been using ¬†ProMoisturiser for over a week and so far my skin seems really happy. No new spots to report and my skin isn’t oily either. What surprised me most was how quickly the moisturiser absorbed into my skin with no hint of residue left behind. Plus the intoxicating scent of jasmine, orange and honeysuckle is a nice reminder of summer.

I think I’ve found a solution to my autumn skin drama. Thanks ESPA.
