Beauty Review: ESPA Lift & Firm Moisturiser

Sometimes things don’t quite go to plan, I had planed to buy ESPA’s Lift & Firm Moisturiser but ended up with the Lift & Firm Eye Moisturiser instead. That’s what happens when you don’t read the label properly! Still it was a good excuse to get both products…

I tried a sample of the Lift & Firm Moisturiser last year and squeezed every last drop out of the little tube (always a good sign). I liked the product so much I decided to purchase a full-sized product when my current moisturiser ran out- please note my will power!  The first thing you notice is the heavenly smell of sea amber which works by stimulating collagen production to smooth out pesky lines and wrinkles (I am 30 now!!). Antindoxiant rich Larch boosts cell regeneration, plumping the skin and rehydrated any dry patches. I have combination skin so trying to balance oily zones and dry patches at the same time is not an easy task. Despite the number of active ingredients in this cream, it’s not too thick or heavy which is usually the case with multi-action products. The main problem I have with most moisturisers is that they end up clogging my pores, resulting in a crop of red, angry spots. ESPA have concocted a potion that works well on my skin and I would definitely recommend it.

I swear my dark circles are getting bigger by the day, I need a product that works on minimising those under-eye shadows and I wouldn’t mind a little help to smooth out my crinkly crows feet. It’s not something that drives me crazy but I would like to work on improving me skin rather than covering imperfections with concealer. I haven’t been using this product long enough to notice a marked improvement but I think it’s more about preventing any further damage. I have noticed that the delicate under-eye skin is softer and perhaps a bit plumper. Hopefully if I continue with using the Lift & Firm Eye Moisturiser I will be able to stop the clock and keep my eyes looking as bright as possible.
