Christmas all wrapped up.

Christmas present wrapping is like marmite- you either love it or you hate it. For a stationery addict like myself, I love it. Actually it’s one of my favourite festive activities to get me in the festive spirit (probably has something to do with the mince pies, cherry brandy and cheesy Christmas tunes I sing-a-long to whilst wrapping myself into a merry little stupor!). Last year I opted for jewel tones and this year I’ve been seduced by vintage chic- Kirstie Allsopp has a lot to answer for in this house.

Apart from the wrapping essentials (paper, ribbon, tape etc), I’ve selected a few novelty decorations to give my gifts the wow factor. The cute wooden owls are cuteness personified and ideal for little ones. I know it’s a pain to clear up and you’ll be finding gold stars down the back of the sofa until March but glitter girls around the world will appreciate a gift that bursts open with twinkly stars. This year I’m adding another dimension to my prezzies, not just visually appealing I’m hoping the sound of sleigh bells gently jingling will melt even the coldest Scrooges heart. I can’t wait to get stuck in…..stock up on your wrapping essentials now and turn prezzie wrapping into a Christmas treat rather than a festive chore.
